For more than 15 years, I have worked in law, finance and business, advising companies, regulators and governments at the highest level. I have built a career solving complex problems and cutting through bureaucracy, experience that now drives my mission to get real results for local people.
As a Solicitor Advocate and former Barrister, I have advised major financial institutions, fintech innovators and global regulators, guiding international compliance and governance strategy, and being recognised with awards such as the Foreign Office Woman of Achievement Award.
But while I have worked globally, my focus is now firmly local. Like you, I live here in St Leonards, and I am tired of politics as usual. Too many politicians say one thing and do another. I am standing in Ashdown and Conquest because I want to bring integrity, professionalism and problem-solving back into local government.
Conservative councillors have shown they can be trusted, balancing the books, protecting frontline services, delivering “Good” ratings for Adult Social Care, and standing up for local pride. I was proud to stand with them to defend our national flag from those who try to brand ordinary, patriotic people as racist simply for flying it.
The rainbow parties on the Left, with the Greens and Labour, however, have left a trail of headlines about Gaza, woke distractions and financial chaos. But there is serious work to do here in East Sussex. We must get answers on the near decade-long delay to the Queensway Gateway, work with the new Mayor of Sussex (from 2026) to ensure Key Route Networks are in place to prioritise our busy roads and end the war on motorists, and stop Rayner’s housing plans to cover The Ridge in unwanted development and more traffic.
I will use my skills as a solicitor and problem-solver to continue Peter Pragnell’s legacy, fight for our community and make sure our area gets the best possible deal. This will not be politics as usual. I will go the extra mile, listening, delivering and working tirelessly to earn your trust.
I promise to bust a gut for Ashdown and Conquest and deliver the real change we all want to see.
